Preparing ourselves today for the future generations....
The objective of the post secondary support program is to assist members of the Attawapiskat First Nation to gain access to post secondary education, and to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to pursue individual careers, personal self actualization, and to contribute to the well being and economic self reliance of the Attawapiskat First Nation in particular, and all First Nations in general.
Vital components of the student's progress at the post-secondary level, are the support, counselling, and guidance services. The Attawapiskat First Nation Education Authority will endeavour to provide such services within the limits of the available resources. The Post Secondary Counsellor also encourages all students to make full use of the receiving institution's on-site programs and services as provided.
